Packing Up My Craft Room ~ Part 2

Packing up my Craft Room ~ Alicia McNamara

I am packing up my Craft Room…and we are moving house! Our new house has been built and we pick up the keys this Tuesday. I am filming a series of Videos to document the packing, moving and set-up process of getting into my new craft room. This is the second Video of the series:

Packing Up my Craft Room Video

In this Video I get stuck into some serious packing of my craft room supplies in preparation for the move. I tackle two sections of my Craft Room the bottom of my white cupboard and the top of one of my benches that has become a dumping ground for finished projects and yet to be completed projects.

I made good progress and I think I have realised that the worst part of packing is the “thinking part” not the “doing part”. Once I began the task it didn’t seem so bad. Now I just have to stick with it and keep going!! I am super excited to move into our new house : )

  1. Thanks for sharing, yes u can do it. your craft room is tidy before you started. Love it. good luck with finding place for everything in the new place. Your son coming in added to the video lots of hugs there too. Lovin it

    1. Thank you Linda, we have successfully moved everything over to the new house now, but I still have unpacking to do in the craft room. Im posting a new video of crafty set up soon xoxo

  2. Congratulations on your new home – is it far from where you are? Loving watching you pack – your room is so well organised… mine is still storing DD and SIL ‘stuff’. So hanging out for them to take it back, and help me re-arrange the whole studio.
    Blessings

    1. Hi Maxine : )
We only moved 10 minutes away from our old home. But we built this house and will one day own it as opposed to renting! We love our new home very much. My new craft room is slowly taking shape. Im working full time tutoring at the moment so not a lot of time to craft and set up my craft room. I would love to see your studio! I can imagine you have many crafty supplies xoxo

  3. What a huge task, one in which I can go along with you, as I am also packing my craft goodies away as well as the house. Hubbs and I are moving to NZ it’s a mammoth task as we have to do customs paperwork and insurance also. We have decided not to move until Jan 2021 and will be house sitting for the remainder of this year. I look forward to part 3.
    Big hugs from me.

    1. Oh Christine! That does sound like a huge task!! I have never done an international move before…moving states was the biggest I have ever done. Part three is coming….I will blog it soon. Good luck with your packing! xoxox
