Cardmaking Tutorial ~ With Fancy Foam Flower

Mintay Dreamer Cardmaking Tutorial by Alicia McNamara

Hello Crafting Friends,

Mintay Dreamer Cardmaking Tutorial by Alicia McNamara

This is a Cardmaking Tutorial showcasing the card I made for my Mother In Law for her birthday. She loves the colour purple so I chose to use the Mintay Dreamer Collection.

It’s a beautiful collection. I wanted to use it to create a lovely, fancy card, that was very special. I also wanted to create a foam flower as the centrepiece of the card.

  1. Oh Alicia – I am always amazed as I watch you create so effortlessly and with so many layers – this is exquisite! If I tried to use that many layers my card would be a mess – but this is absolutely gorgeous!

    1. Maxine, you could easily do this card…it is not difficult at all. I loved making this. I have a few more cards coming up that are a bit similar. I am loving making cards at the moment…no thinking required, just creative expression xoxo

  2. This is a beautiful card Alicia, can I have the instructions?
I have the paper, love Mintay Papers.

    1. Hi Pam,
I didnt actually write down instructions to this card…I created it completely for fun…Ive got a few cards coming up like this…my mojo needed some free time creating. It is so good to know that you find the instructions helpful…I appreciate your comment xoxo

  3. G’day, So lovely to hear from a fellow Queenslander. My main interest is card making and I am absolutely astounded by the detail you put into your beautiful cards. Looking forward to learning more from you. One question. How on earth do you post your cards so that they are not damaged?
Very Best Wishes, Pam from Bribie Island

    1. Hello Pam, thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a comment. Its lovely to “meet” you. To post the cards just pop into a snap lock bag or wrap in bubble wrap. I express posted this one to my Mother in law…cost me $15 to post it!!!!!
