Cruise Double Layout #1

This was the first layout I created for the Cruise. It is a double layout using Kaisercraft Scrap Studio Papers and Stamps. I hope you enjoy it : )

Cruise Double Layout Instructions

If you are on my email list you will receive Printable Instructions (step by step with colour photos) for this Cruise Double Layout Class. 1. Take 2 COLLAGE papers and spray with Gold Mist.  Drain to sides and dry with a heat gun.    

2. Cut four horizontal 1 inch x 12 inch strips from top of EXPRESSIONS.  Ink top and sides of edges with Gold Ink.

3. Cut four horizontal 1 inch x 12 inch strips from top of YOU & ME.  Ink top and sides of edges with Gold Ink.  

4. Cut 1 inch off the top and bottom of both COLLAGE papers.

5. Take two pieces of 12×12 cardstock.  Stick together if desired at the back.  

6. Take the four YOU & ME strips. Bend or distress edges and adhere to top and bottom of card stock.

7. Layer EXPRESSIONS strips on top, but slightly down a bit, in the same way.    

8. Adhere COLLAGE papers to the centre of the layout.

9. Paint wooden chipboard with gold paint.  

  9. Cut AUTHENTIC into 5×12, 2×12, 2×12, 3×12 strips.  Distress edges and ink with Gold Ink.      

  10.  Cut remaining YOU & ME to 8×4, 8×3, 8×3, 8×2 inches. 

11.  Cut EXPRESSIONS to the measurements below.  Distress and ink edges.

12.  Adhere 5×12 AUTHENTIC strip vertically to left side of centre join.

13.  Adhere 3×12 AUTHENTIC strip horizontally to right hand page, 3 inches from the bottom.  

  14.  Take 2×12 AUTHENTIC strip and trim 1.5 inches off the end then glue it horizontally to left hand page, 3 inches from the bottom.  

15. Attach xoxo strip from YOU & ME to below AUTHENTIC horizontal strip on right-hand side.

16.  Stamp dotty stamp and film strip around edges of AUTHENTIC strips.

17.  Place YOU & ME 8×4 inches and 8×2 inches strips in a reverse L shape on left-hand side of the page with foam tape.

  18.  Layer last AUTHENTIC strip horizontally on right hand page.  Layer last YOU & ME strips vertically with foam tape on right-hand page.  

19. Layer EXPRESSIONS pink 5×4 inch rectangle vertically on top of layered rectangles on left-hand side of page.  Layer EXPRESSIONS floral gold 4×6 inches horizontally on top.  Layer photo on top with with one strip of foam tape only.

20.  Stagger 6×4 and 5×4 EXPRESSIONS rectangles onto right-hand side of Layout with foam tape.  Layer photos on top, but slightly off-centre with one strip of foam tape only.  Add small 2×4 EXPRESSIONS pink rectangle under bottom photo.

21.  Cut two doilies in half.  Layer half a doily behind top of 2 photos on right-hand page.  Layer half above and below photo on left-hand side of the page.

22. Add sticker titles, “Love you” and “Happy Moment” to the page.  

23.  Fussy cut 6 pink butterflies from COARSE.

24.  Glue birdcages and clock onto Layout.  Use foam tape to adhere vine.

25. Add in butterflies, paper blooms, cheesecloth and black sewing thread.

26.  Embellish with pearls and sticker love hearts.
