Hello Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing a Shabby Chic Cards Tutorial made with Kaisercraft’s new Peachy Collection.  This collection is very pretty and really lends itself to the Shabby Chic design.  I had a lovely time making these cards.

Step By Step Photo Tutorial to Make 10 Shabby Chic Cards

Materials Needed:

Peachy Collection Papers

P2630 Honey Dew

Kaisercraft Product:

PP1054 Paper Pad, Flourish Pack, Collectables, EM405 Paper Doilies, T302 Foam Dots, T321 Acid Free Craft Glue, LDB1056 Foam Tape, T314 Double Sided Tape, Mini Paper Blooms; F^46 Buttercream, F651 Sunset, BRB606 Organza Ribbon, PL505 Latte Pearls, CD511 White C6 Card Pack.

Other: Yellow Sewing Thread, Cheese Cloth

Instructions:

Step 1

Cut HONEY DEW following the lines and choose preferred sentiments.

Step 2

Choose ten papers (5 designs, 2 of each design) to be the background of the cards. Cut each paper to 10cm x 15cm.

Step 3

Distress edges and sew with a sewing machine around the base of the borders. Attach to base card with foam tape.

Step 4

Choose five papers from Paper Pad and cut two rectangles from each paper measuring 8cm x 13.5cm. Distress edges and adhere to middle of card with Foam Tape.

Step 5

Distress the edges of 10 sentiments. Choose a base card for each sentiment.

Step 6

Add ½ a doily or a full doily to each card.

Step 7

Embellish with Collectables, Wooden Flourishes, Cheesecloth, Organza Ribbon, Sewing Thread and Latte Pearls.

      I’m just wondering what products do you like to use for your Mixed Media layouts…texture paste, templates, stamping, misting sprays?
