Instructions:

Part 1 – Make Base Cards

  1. Begin with 2 pieces of 12×12 Coconut Cardstock.   Cut both in half so you have four horizontal 6×12 inch pieces of Cardstock.

Score three pieces of cardstock at 2inches, 4 inches, 8 inches and 10 inches vertically. Score horizontally at 2 inches and 4 inches as per the diagram below.

(Diagrams are not to scale)

2. Cut each card horizontally following the yellow cut lines as per the diagram below starting at two inches from the top and two inches from the left-hand side and stopping two inches from the right-hand side. Repeat at four inches from the top.

3. To fold your cards use your bone folder to score along the Mountain Folds, bending the card so it folds towards you. Follow the Purple Lines in the diagram below.

Then fold the Valley Folds bending the card away from you. Follow the green lines on the diagram below.

Part 2 – Decorate Your Cards

  1. Cut LUSTER along lines of Sentiments.

2. Take the little 2 inch squares and adhere them to the spots on the three cards as shown in the diagram below.

3. Cut six 6×2 inch rectangles from GLISTENING. Paste them onto first and last fold of each of the three cards as shown in the diagram below.

4. Cut nine 4×2 inch rectangles from ILLUMINATE. Paste them horizontally onto the three rectangles in the middle of each card. (See the green rectangle in the diagram below.)

Cut six 2×2 inch squares from GLISTENING and paste them onto the two middle squares as shown in the pink sections on the diagram below.

Part 3 – Embellishing the Cards

  1. Take three 4×3 inch sentiments previously cut from LUSTER and layer onto left over white card stock.

2. Fussy cut three flowers from GLINT. Cut flowers in half and attach behind sentiments with Foam Tape.

3. Mount Sentiments to front of each card with Foam Tape.

4. Add a sentiment.

I put sentiments in the middle horizontal rectangle. Alternatively you could personalize your Christmas card with a message on white card stock and add to this middle fold.

5. Add some black rhinestone strips to embellish each card.

Tie ribbon onto three baubles and adhere with Foam Tape.

Keep embellishing until you are happy with your cards.
