Goodevening blogging buddies…am feeling a little stressed and frantic tonight.  I am organising a Cross Country carnival for school this Friday and preparing for our week in Japan and I dont cope well with too much going on these days…I get all hyped up and buzzing with adrenaline.  Have had lots to do tonight and still another two days of work to go.  Never mind…it will all get done eventually, and if it doesn’t then what is the worst that can happen, right?
To calm me down I thought some peaceful blogging might help and here I have this glittery, cute little Tilda to share with you.  I made her up yesterday, or the day before, for an ex-student in my class last year – Kelsey.  She is such a sweet little thing and I thought I would surprise her by remembering her birthday.
For this card I used Old Olive and Regal Rose card stock combined with SU DPs.  I coloured Tilda with ink pads and aqua painters and added ribbon, prima flowers and rhinestones.  I edged the card and papers with Old Olive ink and gold Kindy-Glitz.
I followed the sketch from Stamp With Fun and would like to join in with One Stop Craft Challenge – Metallic, because I have used lots of gold on this card and gold is a metal.
Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have a lovely evening.

  1. Oh Alicia I can see the look of absolute amazement and happiness on Kelsey's face! Very Special!! Gorgeous card, love all your gold trimmings, brilliant job with the ink pads and aqua paints, beautiful. Hope you have a fab time in Japan what a wonderful experience, as to cross country think I would rather organise than run lol, take careX:)

  2. You are so sweet. She is going to be delighted that you remembered her with this lovely card. Try to RELAX, the C.C. event will come off o.k. (Remember to delegate) Oh, that is a bit of advice I had trouble with until recently … finally in my 50's I do it. 🙂 Wish I had given in sooner. LOL, Hugs…

  3. Hi there Alicia
love the new look photo, you look much younger.
Do you ever ask yourself if its worth all the Hassle of going away as women we have so much to remember and it all seems to be down to us, I know how it works in our family, you sound just like I did a fortnight ago, but it will be all worth it in the end when you arrive in japan, sound very exciting.

your card is fabulous as always, I just love this particular tilda. love the sparkle on your flowers.
back soon hope your cross country carnival goes well.
    hugs chris xx
