How to Make Cute Cocoa Vanilla Cards

Hello Crafting Friends,

How are you travelling? Have you been crafting much this month? I have been lucky enough to be getting some crafty time in which has been so so lovely…we are back to our routine now of term time and it feels good to have sections of the day planned out and create a balanced day for everyone. Of course we dont always succeed with the balanced day every day, but that is my goal.

Today I have something a little bit different to share. A few weeks ago I had a play at making up a kit. I used the beautiful Cocoa Vanilla Daydream Papers to create this set of five cards.

There was two reasons for me making up this kit. The first reason was I needed a prize for the January Winners of the Paper Craft Secrets Creating with Confidence Facebook Group. Each month, as you probably know, we have two challenges and then at the end of each month I draw two random winners. Two lucky ladies will receive this Card Making Kit for participating in the challenge. They can then follow along with the Video Tutorial to make the cards.

Here is the Video Tutorial that takes you through the whole creating process from start to finish. I will step you through how to create these Cute and Whimsical Cocoa Vanilla Cards:

The second reason I made up this kit and video is because I am teaching an online Card Making Class next week and I wanted my beautiful crafty friend to have a kit to work with. I thought it would be lovely for us to sit down with the same materials and work through the cards together. We will probably get completely off track with discussions about embellishment placement, card design, fussy cutting techniques and other crafty topics. I am so looking forward to the class! This is something I am looking at doing more often in the future. I want to teach other crafters online through classes for card making and scrapbooking. Two of these cards in this kit are shaker cards and two are not. The sequins come in the kit they match perfectly with the Cocoa Vanilla Daydream papers.

I have had these Cocoa Vanilla papers for a long time, but this was my first time I have ever played with them.

I really love the rainbows, the hearts and the flowers.
