Hello Crafty Friends,
I’m popping in with a Step By Step Photo Tutorial and a Video Tutorial for my latest Layout using the gorgeous Gypsy Rose Collection. This is such a pretty collection and I scrapped a gorgeous little photo of my friend’s sweet little girl. The photo suited the papers perfectly I thought.
Gypsy Rose Layout Step By Step Photos and Written Instructions
Step One – Spray Pink Misting Spray onto Specialty paper and move the spray into an inverted triangle shape with a baby wipe.
Step Two – Spritz the Pink Misting Spray on top of the inverted triangle to soften the edges and add more colour.
Step Three – Pour some small drops of Misting Spray onto page and tilt page to control where the misting spray runs to.
Step Four – Sprinkle some large drops of Misting Spray onto page. Wait till dry.
Step Five – Fussy Cut three Floral Clusters from P2568 Inspiring.
Step Six – Trim Specialty paper to 11.5 x 11.5 inches and mount onto P268 Inspiring with foam tape.
(Iron your specialty paper first if not flat. Cover it with another piece of card stock first.)
Step Seven – Glue specialty die cut on top of base layout with liquid glue.
Srtep Eight – Attach photo to centre of layout with Foam tape.
Step Nine – Take three fussy cur Floral Clusters, position two above photo and one below photo following triangle design.
Step Ten – Cut some pink and burgundy sewing thread and position loosely over each floral cluster.
Step Eleven – Add in five Paper Blooms. Three above photo and two below photo on top of Floral Clusters.
Step Twelve – Add “Dream” Sticker from Sticker Page.
Step Thirteen – On Bottom Cluster add in some feathers from Sticker Sheet, a flourish from Collectables (cut into two pieces) and two wooden flourishes – a flower and a berry stick. Arrange, then glue down with some more sewing thread.
Step Fourteen – For Top Cluster add in some more Collectables, Wooden Flourishes and sewing thread and reposition everything until you are happy with the design of your embellishments.
Step Fifteen – Add in some sparklets.
